RIP Dennis Reid
We're greatly saddened at the loss of close Coach House friend and legendary art historian Dennis Reid (1943–2023). During his career, Dennis led many trailblazing curatorial initiatives at the Art Gallery of Ontario and the National Gallery of Canada. He is the author of numerous publications, including A Concise History of Canadian Painting, and shared his expertise and love of Canadian art with countless students and colleagues as a long-time faculty member of the University of Toronto.
Dennis' contributions to the art and culture landscapes of Toronto and Canada are immeasurable and he will be deeply missed.
